URGENT APPEAL :
The Strand Moslem Primary is currently urgently in need of funds to erect a fence along the Nolte Street boundary of the school. Due to a lack of a fence, vandals and other negative elements have targeted our school on numerous occasions, stealing anything they could lay their hands on. Our learners’ and staff’s safety are also continually at risk.
Besides the fence, our school has another major challenge and that is accommodation. Currently the school has 902 learners on its roll. The current infrastructure is under severe pressure to accommodate all these learners. The school management was forced to accommodate some classes in containers which are presenting many problems to our learners and educators such as extremely cold conditions in winter, extreme heat in summer, leakage after heavy rainfall, cramped space, etc.

The Strand Muslim Community, Management and Staff of the school is kindly appealing to you to assist us with the above mentioned problems facing our school.
