Strand Moslem Primary has served the Muslim Community of Strand for more than 80 eighty years since 1928. Most of the Muslim people of Strand obtained their Primary school education at Strand Moslem Primary. The school together with the mosque, High school and Pre Primary facility are located on one premises and forms the backbone of all communal activities of the Muslims in Strand. Currently the school has 27 teachers and 850 learners from grades R - 7. The school is a dual medium school catering for English as well as Afrikaans speakers.
